Day 1: Arrival Jaipur
Arrive Jaipur. On arrival meet and greet by our representative and transfer you to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 02: Jaipur - Mandawa (175 km / 3 hrs)
Morning drive to Mandawa – popularly known as the "open – air art gallery" as nowhere else one may come across such a profusion of exquisite wall paintings, executed with utmost care and perfection. Arrive and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit to frescoed havelies, nearby village to have an experience of countryside lifestyle. Overnight stay in Mandawa.
Day 03: Mandawa - Bikaner (190 kms / 4 hrs)
Morning drive to Bikaner – the desert bastion of culture and camels. Arrive and check in at hotel. Later visit to the unusual Junagarh Fort - only fort in Rajasthan built on the desert plains. Post Lunch visit to the National Camel Breeding Farm and see the incredible sight of a herd of camels returning back after grazing, with the spectacular desert sunset in the background. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 04: Bikaner - Jaisalmer (330 kms / 6 hrs)
Morning Drive to Jaisalmer – the city of golden fortress is replete with mystic charm of medieval era and blooms with intricately carved havelies and ancient Jain temples. It has preserved the rich heritage and culture and has largely remained unaffected by the out side influences. Arrive and Check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 05: In Jaisalmer
In the morning proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer visiting Gadisar Lake, Golden Fort of Jaisalmer and Patwon Ki Haveli. Later in the evening visit to the Sam Sand Dunes to witness a spectacular sunset over the sand dunes. Enjoy a camel ride & spectacular cultural evening - Rajasthani Folk Dance & Music. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 06: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (275 kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur - the Sun City founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 A.D. is known for its rock-solid Mehrangarh Fort. Arrive and check in at hotel. Later visit the imposing Mehrangarh fort, the Jaswant Thada - the royal cenotaphs in white marble built in 1899 AD in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 07: Jodhpur - Udaipur (250 kms / 5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur - the Lake City founded by Maharana Udai Singh of Mewar, after the Sisodia dynasty was driven away by the Mughals, in 1559 A.D. Enroute visit famous Ranakpur Jain Temple - it is an extensive complex covering 3,600 sq. meters and has 29 halls with 1,444 pillars, each unlike the other, intricately covered with delicate carvings. The main temple is Chaumukha Temple or four-faced temple, dedicated to Adinath, the revealer of truth. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 08: In Udaipur
Morning after breakfast visit to the City Palace - once the home of Mewar's rulers, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion-ki-bari - Garden of the Maids of Honour & the magnificent Lake Pichola. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur - Pushkar (290 kms / 6 hrs)
Morning drive to Pushkar - Pushkar is abode of Lord Brahma and the world's only temple dedicated to Him is located here. Brahma forms the great Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, each symbolising the lifecycle of creation, preservation and destruction. Brahma, the creator, is depicted as a figure with four beard heads and four hands, each holding a book of Vedas (knowledge). Arrive Pushkar and check in at hotel / resort. Evening visit to the temples and Pushkar Lake. Overnight stay in Pushkar.
Day 10: Pushkar - Jaipur (155 kms / 3 hrs)
Morning drive to Jaipur: The Pink City is replete with historical landmarks that echo its past glory and living traditions. En route you may pay visit to Ajmer Dargah Sharif - the final resting place of the Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 11: In Jaipur
Morning after breakfast proceed on the tour of pink city that includes:- Amber Fort: It is one of the finest and the best preserved forts, having served as the royal capital for about seven hundred long years before the city of Jaipur was built. It has a complex of several palaces, meeting halls, pavilions, gardens and temples. The Fort was built in the later half of the 10th century by Raja Man Singh. You may have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to the top of the hill on which the fort is situated or enjoy the Jeep ride up to Amber Fort. City Palace : Built by Sawai Jai Singh, it became the official seat of the Jaipur royal family after 1922. A large part of the brilliant palace is now museum that houses collections of rare manuscripts, armory, costumes, carpets and miniature paintings used by the Rajput royalty. Jantar Mantar : Built in 1728, it is one of Sawai Jai Singh's unique observatories. It has instruments that have been scientifically designed to predict the movement of the major stars accurately. It represents the high point of medieval Indian astronomy. Hawa Mahal : Also called the "Palace of Winds" was built in 1799. It is an unusual five storied structure with a facade of extensive lattice - work in stone. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions or bustling bazaars below without being seen. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 12: Depart from Jaipur
After breakfast transfer you to airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
