Tour Itinerary
1st Destination : Fatehpur Sikri-
Firstly, we will depart from Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is well-known to house some of the best examples of Mughal, Hindu, and Jain architecture. ... Local quarried red sandstone, known as 'Sikri Sandstone' has been used in the construction of all the buildings. The historic monuments of the city speak of its rich and glorious past. Built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid.
2nd Destination : Agra Sightseeing-
Agra became a centre for learning, arts, commerce, and religion, and saw the construction of the Agra Fort, Sikandra and Agra's most prized monument, the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his favourite empress. The Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Taj Mahal is a world wonder located in Agra. ... Every year tourists amounting to twice the total population of Agra visit the city for spotting the Taj Mahal. To immortalize his love for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the most amazing mausoleum of all times. Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah (I'timād-ud-Daulah Maqbara) is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Bachcha Taj" or the "Baby Taj", the tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. The Mehtab Bagh is a perfect spot to view the Taj Mahal at sunset. The park and gardens lie directly across from the Yamuna River from the Taj and are in reasonably good condition. Once you take your photographs of the Taj Mahal, it's nice to stroll around to enjoy the gardens. After the Agra Sightseeing , we will drop you at Jaipur.
